My son's class is doing Alice in Wonderland. We want to create a BIG head for one of the children to wear as the Cheshire Cat. How can I make something that is comfortable for him to wear and dance in? The kid is only 9 years old. I was thinking paper mache but I just don't know how comfortable that would be.

The head doesn't necessarily have to sit just on the kid's real head. I suppose it could be part of his torso as well.

Any ideas welcome!
