FOR
Arsenic and Old Lace
A comedy by Joseph Kesselring
Directed by Rob Price (Runningwoof)
Arsenic and Old Lace is a frenzied, hilarious, madcap black comedy. This slapstick play, with murderous aunts compassionately serving up elderberry wine to elderly gentlemen, their overwrought nephew attempting to save them from the electric chair, their eccentric brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt and the "special" activities of an unwelcome guest—is a hysterical romp with something for everyone. A marvelous example of exaggeration, double-takes, general befuddlement and macabre farce.

Rehearsals: Mon-Fri from 6:30-9:30 pm
(one Saturday and Sunday)
Performances: Thursday thru Saturday @ 8 pm and Sunday @ 3 pm

Requirements: Two, 2-minute, contrasting, contemporary monologues.
No more than 5 minutes total. (If you are not prepared with a monologue cold readings will be accepted)
