A thriller as well as a puzzler set in a foggy estate in Wales, this mystery opens as a stranger walks into a house to find a man murdered and his wife standing over him with a gun. But the woman is dazed and her confession unconvincing. So the unexpected guest decides to help her and blame the murder on an intruder. Later, the police discover clues that point to a man who died two years previously and a Pandora's box of loves and hates, suspicions and intrigues is opened to the night air.

I am having auditions for my new movie "Aberrant Behavior" Saturday June Seventh at Mamma Buzz Cafe in downtown Oaklands Art District 2318 Telegraph Ave from 4-6PM. If your interested in the movie you can e-mail me at: aberrantbehaviormovie@gmail.com. I have already casted some of the roles and have people working on it, I just have not cast all of them yet and of course the female lead.

There will be some paid roles (of course the leads) but this is a low budget (around 25-35,000 or so) affair so it won't be a whole lot. Just to warn you.

Aberrant Behavior, is basically a love story about two self destructive anarchistic-y street kids who have an exaggerated form of pica, a disorder where people feel compelled to eat non-food materials, carpet, dirt, soap, drano, various chemicals, etc. as portrayed as a drug addiction. They have a very co-dependent relationship and with there disorders too , they literally destroy each other.

There's more to it, but that's the basic synopsis. If you can't make it to the auditions, you can send me a head shot with resume, or whatever you want. We can then decide when and where to meet.

THERE WILL BE SOME SEXUALITY AND NUDITY FOR THE TWO LEADS, AS WELL AS MISTY AND FOGGY TO A LESSER DEGREE. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME FOR THOSE ROLES, IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THAT. THANK YOU.

I will be hiring for many roles, all ages (over 18) races, sizes, etc. But here are the main characters:
Main Characters:

LEADS:
Victor Muertos: (Mid to late twenties) Half Mexican/Half white (Half latino/half white will probably work). Black hair, down to chin and five o clock shadow. (Flexible though). Tall and thin but not too thin. Dark, brooding, depressed, prone to long winded sarcastic, cynical rants. Living off the state for mental depression, and addiction, but eventually breaks himself from the state. He hates the state, and normal life in general. He hates almost everything. He is sort of sloppy hipster, slightly emo, slight slight slight goth meets street kid. Light or no body mod, piercings, etc. He eventually lives on the street because of choice. He falls in love with Aiko. SOME NUDITY AND SEXUALS SITUATIONS REQUIRED-CAST

Aiko Zumbi (18-early twenties or look like it) Half Japanese/Half German (or Japanese, or half Japanese/Half white). Shorter than Victor, thin but still slightly curvy.
Street kid with a bit of dark hippie. Has been sexually abused as a child. Prone to violence. Prone to long winded rants, or sometimes just total silence. Dark, cynical, with a very bleak view of life. Body mods, tattoo's, piercings, fine. Dreaded or colored hair fine as well. Actually preffered. She falls in love with Victor. SOME NUDITY AND SEXUAL SITUATIONS REQUIRED.

SUPPORTING LEADS:
Pedida Muertos- (20's -40's)-Mexican- Victor's nearly catatonic - mute drug addict mother, who is usually messing around with strange men, and drugged up. Mostly abuses Victor through neglect. Mostly shown in flashbacks, but one scene in present as well. Young actress aged to look older in present, or vice versa.

Misty & Foggy (20's) two girls that Victor and Chad meet at the bar, who are wasted, and act and look like twins. Very ditzy, drunk, corporate, normal. They take Victor and Chad back to there place. Drunken debauchery ensues.

Spic 'N' Span (20's -40's)- One of the horrible mascots for the advertising firm Victor works for, "Spic n Span's Whiten it up" Cleaning product. They play racist cliched versions of mexican house workers. Think Samo. It's meant to be horrible, and it of course offends Victor.

Aiko's Father-
A militant cold hearted man who sexually abuses aiko. Must be bilingual Japanese & English

Aiko's Mother-
Always screaming at Aikos father. Bi-lingual fluent in German & English

VARIOUS:
Hipster's (18-30) Some with speaking roles. A house party Victor crashes.

Office workers (20's -on) Some with speaking roles.

Various small roles for the horrible commercials and promo's from the firm Victor briefly works for

Other roles as well-Not listed

How can I make something that is comfortable for him to wear and dance in? The kid is only 9 years old. I was thinking paper mache but I just don't know how comfortable that would be.

The head doesn't necessarily have to sit just on the kid's real head. I suppose it could be part of his torso as well.

Here ye here ye!

A Santa Cruz based children’s entertainment company, http://www.happilyeverlaughterparties.com is on the search for a new performer! This is the perfect way to add some sparkle to your life (and extra cash) while only working 1-2 days per week! You can live anywhere in the Bay Area, as the position requires travel to several different cities. If you have an eye for costume and make-up design, and a knack for making children laugh, this may be your dream come true!

Unlike most children’s entertainment providers, we do not use wigs or franchised characters. We like to remind children what can happen if you just let your imagination run wild, instead of just copying the television/movie characters. Each costume is hand-made by the head Faerie (Fae) and truly unique.

Job Description;

Attend events around the Bay Area as a whimsical character (Mermaid, Faerie, Princess etc) and perform a simple magic show, twist colorful balloons, paint faces, make puppets come alive, and many other fun activities! Each performance is only an hour and a half and your compensation will be $80.00 (plus tips!)...and sometimes more (sometimes parties are longer in which case you are compensated $30 per extra 1/2 hr. Also, if you party is more than 1 hour from your home, you are compensated $30 per extra hour of driving, roundtrip). As you gain experience, you may have the option to attend 3-4 parties a weekend!

Full Faerie training will be provided to the right applicant. The training will consist of 3-4 sessions of 2-3 hours in Santa Cruz. Your compensation will begin after your initial training (these are skills you get to keep for a lifetime) with your first tag-a-long (where you get to see a real live Faerie perform!). With proper practice, you could begin performing by the end of April! Again, the training will take place at the Tree House headquarters in Santa Cruz, CA...the schedule is quite flexible. After each training session, you will be required to rehearse on your own time to prepare for a final performance for me (the head Faerie). If you have too much on your plate (full time student+extra job+slaying dragons in the evenings), you should not apply for this job. It takes a lot of time to become a true Faerie, but the reward is immense. Once trained, the job doesn't take much time at all. Just 1.5 hours per party!

You must have your own, reliable vehicle, as you may have to travel up to 1 hour away (depending on where you live) for the event. Most shows are in San Jose or San Francisco. You also MUST be punctual. Being on time (and even early) is more important than anything else. If this is a problem for you, do not apply. I ask that you are available 3 weekends a month, with one weekend off (if you want, you can work 4 weekends). Anytime off must be requested at least one month in advance.

Applicants are strongly recommended to have experience with theater, young children, music, glitter, and working independently.

Email your resume to (please, NO phone calls)
happilyeverlaughter@gmail.com
and include a current photo of yourself, any special talents, and at least 3 references (not family). These positions usually yield a lot of applicants, so I encourage you to make your resume stand out! This is one job where creativity comes first, so let it shine! Good luck!

Respectfully,
Fae Diddle Diddle

Kamau has appeared at The Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, on Comedy Centrals Premium Blend, and Byron Allens Comics Unleashed. Kamau has been profiled in The San Francisco Chronicle on three separate occasions, including not ironically during Black History Month. Kamau is currently hard at work performing his debut solo show, "The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour". The SF Guardian declared, "W. Kamau Bell plays against type and comes with not only the insights you wish you had spewed first but also the wit.." The SF Weekly called him smart, stylish, and very much in the mold of politically outspoken comedians like Dave Chappelle and Margaret Cho, although he was more excited that they called him handsome.
I am afraid that I will not be able to cut the content of the movie script, even if I find actors interested .You can e-mail me with rates, photos, questions, etc. If your an actor or actress who has worked in nudity and/or sexual situations, is comfortable with it, and would like to take on a feature narrative film as a major role please e-mail me or show up to the auditions. The two main roles are the ones that require it but there are others. If you would like to be featured in sequences that do not involve the main characters, but are part of dreamlike imagery you can either show up to the audition, or e-mail me with link to your work.
Thanks-
Jason

Here is the original posting:

I have a new movie called "Aberrant Behavior" auditioning Sat. 1/19 3:30-6:3- at the Dark Room SF 2263 Mission off of 19th and Mission@ 3:30 - 6:30. (My first movie "the period" came out through Sub Rosa Cinema can be seen/bought at Netflix www.myspace.com/theperiodmovie, as well as various other outlets)
Aberrant Behavior, is basically about two self destructive anarchistic-y street kids who have an exaggerated form of pica, a disorder where people feel compelled to eat non-food materials, carpet, dirt, soap, drano, various chemicals, etc. as portrayed as a drug addiction. There's more to it, but that's the basic synopsis. If you can't make it to the auditions, you can send me a head shot with resume, or whatever you want. We can then decide when and where to meet.

I will be hiring for many roles, all ages (over 18) races, sizes, etc. But here are the main characters:
Main Characters:

Emma May (20's to 30's) Actress must be thin, because character is anorexic. Very fake, superficial, manic laughing. Very self deluded. She doesn't really see her anorexia as a problem, she think she looks great though she's obviously dieing and goes to extremes to keep herself thin. She is always dressed up elegantly and thinks of herself as a proper lady even when doing something grotesque . She is a head executive at a advertising/pr firm that she gets a Victor a brief job at, through meeting him in a class over there mutual addictions. (Brief Nudity /Partial a few times)

Caseworker Joe (30's-40's) Written has hispanic, but open. Larger guy, tall, built like a shed, a bit fat but not flabby fat. Very coarse, to the point, direct "Take no shit" kind of guy. Very normal, buys into the whole big house in the suburbs, good job, etc. He is Victor's Caseworker, and is tired of Victor's Shit, and believes he is not trying to quit. (None)

Glitters- a gay gangster rapper, take everything that's a cliche and horrible about it and flip it so that it's gay (some, will also need male models)

Pedida Muertos-Victors Mother. A nearly catatonic morally apprehensive drug addict who's always sleeping with random guys and ignoring her child (Some nudity/sexual situations can be negotiated to less)

And then random visuals, nudes for some flashback scenes (of some sort of psuedo porn the main characer shot) a girl that Victor sleeps with before he falls in love with Zumbi (requires brief nudity/sexuality) and some body part imagery that will not feature the face of the actor/actress, among other thing

thanks for reading
Residential project for experienced movers

The American performer Nita Little will be the special guest of our association, first time in Italy as guest artist, for giving the project “Restless Peace”. The intensive workshop with Nita Little is in the calendar of our Residential Projects 2008, and will be from April 25 to May 2, 2008 in the beautiful Etruscan city of Orvieto, in middle Italy.

After the end of the workshop, on May 3rd and 4th, the association will plan also two days with the International Springfest Jam.

The intensive workshop and the Jam will be held both at the headquarters of the cultural Association Caravajal15 residenza dinamica, in the prestigious sixteenth century rooms of the Palazzo Caravajal-Simoncelli, in Orvieto.

Application for registration in the project with Nita Little is open from January 7th. For information and more details write to: info@contactfestival.it, or telephone to +39 0763.341479.

Nita Little
Restless Peace
The urge to move, to go where we have never been, is the soul of our practice in this workshop.
Developing a "home base", a place of personal and creative safety is as important as the journey; how wonderful to be free when you have a home! We learn, how like nomads, we may carry our home with us, even as we track paths in and out of unfamiliar territory.
We focus on developing the mental, emotional, and physical skills that enable dancers to travel creatively. Utilizing a full dance vocabulary, we integrate gestured movement improvisation with contact improvisation and build the skills to consciously weave these two forms.

We investigate “states” of mind / “states” of body as a means to develop and direct creative work in our improvisations. Developing the ability to describe and craft subtle levels of action and experience, we boost our physical potential while increasing our readability. Moving in solo, duet and group forms, we gain compositional tools for structural orientation; like torches, they light the way.

This workshop is developed for experienced movers who wish to pass beyond the threshold of old patterns. The restless human drive that takes us out of comfort, urges us to meet the unfamiliar, to move into, through and with the unknown, is a dance artist’s call. Here, we harness that drive and discover how, moving at the speed of our restless calling, we can find peace.

This class culminates in a creative work for performance at the workshop and at Zipfest08.

Things we will do:
Go deep into the physical philosophy behind contact improvisation.
Learn underlying CI principles that manifest as pathways of action.
Build the tools for safe physical and creative relationships
Discover different spatial orientations: vertical/hierarchical and horizontal/diffuse.
Learn about our temporal orientation and develop tools that modulate time.
Develop the skills to be able to move freely between states of mind.
Deepen our agreements to open to life, to the dance.
Honor peace.

about Nita Little
www.nitalittle.com
Nita Little has been developing, choreographing, performing and teaching improvisational dance for the past thirty-six years, notably Contact Improvisation, which she helped evolve from its inception with Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith and others.
She collaborated in numerous performing companies introducing Contact Improvisation throughout the United States. She is a master teacher with former students all over the world, who are themselves now master dancers and teachers: Gretchen Spiro, Andrew Harwood, Frey Faust, Scott Wells, Julie Oak, Peter Bingham to name just a few. Through CI she discovered her abiding interest in the evolution of consciousness and the mind body relationship. Since 1981 she has been developing an evolving curriculum called The Mind in Motion, which explores the range of experiential states along the mind-body continuum and reveals principles that define Contact Improvisation as well as other movement forms. This work is informed by her investigation of the mind through work such as hypnotherapy and NeuroLinguistic Programming.

As a performing artist her current work is a mix of both formal and improvisational choreography and scores. While anchored in process, it frequently explores character, story, and concept.

Nita received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in choreography and was on the California Arts Council Touring Program.
The latter award was to her solo dance company, NITA LITTLE DANCE THEATRE, which she began in 1984, continued through 1990, and reinstated as a pickup company in 2000. In 2002 Nita created Playing God, an hour-long dance opera that received funding through the Dance USA /National Endowment for the Arts.

Over the years Nita has been both faculty and guest artist at numerous colleges and universities including New York University, California Institute for the Arts, Texas Christian University, Temple University, Tufts University, Scripps College and UC Santa Barbara.

Nita teaches and performs yearly at national and international dance festivals including ImPulsTanz, Vienna, The Side Step Festival, Helsinki, Kontakt Budapest International Improvisation Festival, the International Contact Festival Freiburg, Germany, the Seattle Festival of Alternative Dance and Improvisation and the West Coast Contact Improvisation Festival, Berkeley California.
She also teaches locally and nationally throughout the year. She lives with her son in Santa Cruz Mountains in California.

As she has pioneered a path in the understanding of the mind/body/spirit relationship, Nita's mission, conscious evolution, has been the backbone of her passion and her practice. Her goal is to see, feel and reveal grace in all its forms and as it exists in the actions of the mind and the body.

I will be having auditions this week so please respond right away if interested. This is a short film involving 1-2 rehearsals and 2 shoot days (will likely shoot on a weekend to accomodate day jobs, but it's flexible). Credit, DVD, good food, good folks, well-run and fun shoot.

The story is of a woman discovering the erotic joys of imagining that she is a Sheep, having adventures with her loving Ranch Hand.

Here are the parts:

1. Woman-As-Sheep: physically small-to-medium-ish woman. Very comfortable in her body and somewhat athletic as she will be doing a lot of leaping and bounding. Able to do a good bleat. Woman-As-Sheep is new to the joys of erotic sheep-dom, but finds herself a natural. She absolutely loves being a sheep! She is deeply in love with her Ranch Hand, who treats her with chocolate and the best clover around.

2. Handsome Ranch Hand: butch woman or FTM, taller than Sheep. Loves Sheep more than anything in the world. Hardworking ranch hand by day, who looks forward to evenings relaxing and romping with Sheep, pampering her, and enjoying all her fleecy silky softness in all ways.

3. Male TV voiceover: he is a narrator for an animal documentary--old school male voiceover sound.

I'll be submitting this short to festivals and perhaps some online venues.

If interested, PM me telling me about your interest in the project, and I can tell you more...
Logomotion Writing Workshop
Sometimes our words don't have access to what we know in our bones.
In this workshop we will be improvising moving and speaking, and we will be writing.
While our writing will stimulate our imagination and support our improvisations, our improvisations will enrich our writing with a kinesthetic timing to phrasing and windows on sudden thoughts and memories.
Our activities will include studio sessions of improvisational moving and speaking, spontaneous writing, walks in town, with partners, for conversations about matters large and small, and private times to write and to craft our writings and to read them to each other.
We will borrow from the writing practice of Natalie Goldberg as found in her books “Writing Down the Bones” and “Wild Mind”, discovering the associations that gather spontaneously around a chosen point of departure.
As our movement work will include many activities in partners and in groups, some of our writing will include more than one voice, focusing on the relationships between the thoughts of different people.
A goal will be to write with wild mind and intention, and with awareness of world.

Jennifer Dunning writes in her 1991 New York Times review: “Simone Forti presented her first dance program in 1960 and has since then had a steadily increasing influence on post-modernist choreographers interested in exploring ‘natural’ or non-formalist movement and dance”.

Dickens Fair casting for the return of "Pirates of Penzance"

Co-directors Cat Taylor & Robert Young are holding auditions for selected roles in the revival of their widely acclaimed 60-minute production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s "Pirates of Penzance" performed last at the Dickens Christmas Fair in 2002. Originally adapted by Cat Taylor and John Cole for the 1987 Dickens Christmas Fair, the production will be performed once a day on the Victoria & Albert Music Hall stage, each day of the fair. The Great Dickens Fair will be open 11:00AM - 7:00PM every weekend day between Thanksgiving and Christmas (November 24th - December 23rd), plus the special opening day, Friday November 23rd.

This production is a largely volunteer effort for everyone involved and we will be asking the performers involved to help out as much as possible with costuming. We are currently checking to see what costumes, props and scenery pieces are available from the 2002 production, but will certainly need help on some items. Pirates costumes can be adapted from Renaissance Faire costumes and much of the remaining we will be creating ourselves or finding it wherever we are able to do so. If you are not cast in the production but would like to help out, we will be extremely pleased to have your help in costume production, set construction and in other behind-the-scenes capacities.

The available roles are:

Mabel, soprano. She knows what she wants (Frederic) and how to go about getting it. Considering there is much musical parody of Verdi’s Violetta (in La Traviata) -- especially Mabel’s Act I cadenzas -- she must have excellent coloratura and power, a soaring lyric soprano. There are numerous high B-flats throughout the score.

Edith, soprano. She has a couple of short but important solos and a bit of dialogue in Act I. Requires a strong soprano voice. Also a member of the chorus.

Kate, mezzo. Has one short solo and a bit of dialogue. Also a member of the chorus.

Isabel. No solo singing, but a few lines of dialogue. Also a member of the chorus.

Female Chorus are all wards of Major General Stanley, unattached young ladies.

Male Chorus all sing Act I as members of the pirate band. In Act II, the tenors continue as pirates, while the basses become police!

Rehearsal & Performance Pianist for Pirates and the other shows on the Victoria and Albert Music Hall stage. Must be able to play Gilbert & Sullivan music as well as improvisatory melodrama style. Compensation TBA.

If you are auditioning for the chorus, prepare one verse of a song, which displays your range, projection, diction, and ability to sing on pitch. It can be from G&S (preferred) or something similar, or even your favorite national anthem -- anything simple and straight forward which will give us a chance to compare your voice with others we hear.

If you are auditioning for a principal role, prepare a solo number for the character in Pirates you hope to play, or a solo from any opera or light opera for a character which requires a similar voice. Please bring sheet music for your pieces. You will also be asked to read some dialogue from Pirates.

Auditions will be held in San Francisco on Wednesday September 26th, starting at 7:00. The 15 minute auditions will be by appointment only, audition location will be given at the time of scheduling (it's in a private home)

Please contact Cat Taylor at cat@redbarnproductions.org to schedule an audition.
This salon is part of the lead-in for an astounding event happening at SomArts that weekend, designed to bring artists, musicians, and the people who make it all happen together to meet each other and talk about their work. At CELLSpace we will have an art show in the gallery, puppetry and sewing workshops in the loft, musicians, free drinks and food, and panel discussions. The discussions will revolve around the ideas of producing arts, media, and change from a non-profit and for-profit perspective. What are the benefits of each format? How can artists navigate the world between the two for maximum freedom and maximum funding? Bay Area heavies from both sides of the fence will discuss why they have chosen the structure that they have and how they use it to get what they want.

BREAKING NEWS - CELLspace is facing massive crisis and needs your help! We will give the microphone to someone from the organization who can tell you all about what is going on and how you can get involved. Get your news fresh from the trenches. We love this community resource and want to fight to keep it! http://pandorastrunk.com http://artsandmedia.net/expo

Bonjour,

We are holding auditions for actors for La Legion Fantastique! This is a new volunteer attraction in the children's area at this year's Dickens Christmas Fair (www.dickensfair.com). We need fun, charismatic actors with a love for Victorian science fiction (mostly Jules Verne) to populate our environment...interact with audience members, and have a great time being eccentric characters! This is an unpaid, but VERY FUN, show.

HISTORICAL CHARACTERS

The person we are looking for should match his appearance, and have a relatively thorough knowledge of Verne's works/life...or be able to take a crash course in it. Our Verne would perform readings, and interact with the "real life" personae from his books.

NOTE: I realize that there just aren't a lot of strong female roles in Verne's works. Blame Mr. Verne for that one. HOWEVER, I am happy to work with interested ladies on forging strong characters that will fit into the worlds established in our main list of books. Example could be Prof. Arronax's sister (a fabrication) who is just as intelligent, but is assisting her brother in spreading the story of "20k Leagues" around the world. Feel free to contact me, and we'll work something out...I'm very flexible! If you have an idea for a historical/fictional character that is not on this list, please tell me what you have in mind, and we may find a place for it.

Thus begins one of theatre's lapses of artistic sanity by staging a backstage murder mystery of miscues, missed clues that lead to mass queues of patrons demanding the prosecution of Otto Finkleheime, author of A NIGHT TO DISMEMBER.

ROUND UP THE USUAL SUSPECTS…CAST

Not new to the area, but out of touch with theatre community, I am searching for actors/readers for the farce A NIGHT TO DISMEMBER. Initially, a cold/informal reading is planned to work out the knots with hopes that a "cast" might later participate in a more formal backer's audition.

If you are interested in reading or would like to help round up a few good actors, please respond.

A Night to Dismember

This is a tale of a small band of beleaguered guests who find themselves at the mercy of a raging storm, a maniacal murderer, and a script by Otto Finkleheimer.

Otto’s “ghost” writer may have to finish this epic work-in-progress if the cast doesn’t do it in first. The Berthington Players, a small group of community thespians, find their own intrigues more murderous than the who-done-it they are rehearsing.
problem. (2W, 6M)

MAMA by Tanea Lunsford (SF School of the Arts)
Directed by TBA
Four women at a poker game share about their lives, celebrations, and
struggles. When an unexpected crisis invades their circle, will the bonds
of womanhood and maternal instinct be able to hold them together? (4W –
African-American, 1M – African-American)
Fans of The Daily Show—mark your calendars for Friday, September 1, when Cal Shakes will host a special reception for Daily Show Correspondent Dan Bakkedahl at 6:30pm before the 8:00pm performance of The Merchant of Venice. Bakkedahl, who studied theater in college alongside Cal Shakes Associate Artistic Director Sean Daniels, is on the Theater’s Advisory Council, and is working to help introduce new patrons and donors to Cal Shakes as part of the New Generations program. New Generations efforts include our “Young & Cheap” discount tickets for people age 30 and under; our Ambassador program, which recruits and empowers college students and young professionals to help spread the word about Cal Shakes; and upgrades to our website, including message boards, artist blogs, and podcasts.

Last month, an e-mail message from Bakkedahl was sent to Cal Shakes’ “Whippersnappers” (patrons who had previously purchased “Young & Cheap” tickets) to inform them of a unique challenge. Thanks to the generosity of several anonymous donors, any donations made through the end of the season by patrons under the age of 35 will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $10,000). Bakkedahl wrote, “What a great way to prove that those of us under 35 actually care about our communities, our theaters, and our good times together.” We agree.

Join Bakkedahl, the Whippersnappers, and other Daily Show fans at the reception at 6:30pm at the Bruns Amphitheater. The event is free for all Merchant of Venice ticketholders, and $10 for others. To RSVP, call Elizabeth Schrey at 510.548.3422 x101 or email eschrey@calshakes.org.
There's a wonderful resource being neglected in SF, and it's filling our landfills...
Well not really filling, but sure dropping a bunch of otherwise useful materials into the trash.

TMAX is a theater resource trading site, a place to find homes for set pieces that were custom built for that one show, and now just another thing to move every time you want to find that ever so useful 4x4 deck that's buried in storage.

If you're a small company with a garage to keep a few flats for an upcoming show, one could save a lot of labor and materials cost by planning ahead and checking the TBA site for give aways

The only thing is, no one checks it, so no one posts anything.
No attention = useless system.
Often it's easier to make a dump run so you know it'll go away.
Or in the case of ACT's scenic shop, leave it out back for the local skateboarders to use for ramps.

It'll take a bit of dillegence to get going again, and may be quieter in the summer months, but it's worth a shot whenever you've got an otherwise useful or just plain interesting set piece that would be a waste to throw out...

So in addition to the usual drinks and dj’s, a brilliant show, there will be: mustaches, berets, chocolate fountains, guillotines, wine, champagne, and perhaps even enough deserts so that everyone can eat cake.

The show is Restoration Comedy – which is a GIANT crowd favorite it’s hi-larious, - a laugh out loud funny show, that’s also silly and sexy. I think you’ll all dig it a ton, and if you’re under 30, tickets are only $15, Oh la, la.

See you at the theater.

Sean
